The first event of the network in 2016 was the
Accelerator Assembly Milan Meeting, on the 12th May 2016 at the
Seeds&Chips Conference. This event aimed to discuss latest
trends accelerators are facing in Europe, present the Accelerator
Assembly to the accelerators in Milan's ecosystem and continue to
expand the network.

The European
startup ecosystem is developing rapidly and more and more new
unicorns are rising. Although there are a few hot spots in Europe
next success could come from anywhere. We will speak with the
region's well established accelerator and see: what is happening in
the region, what accelerators are thriving, accelerator business
models, first-hand experience, what is new and what is
old.

industry: business and financing models
In this panel we
will discuss the latest trends that are happening in the industry,
see what is working and get a glimpse of what the future might
bring. We will also take a look at the well-established accelerator
financing models as well as explore the alternative models of
financing accelerators and startups, including the private and
public funding sources that are available.
